Your own grill. Your own pace.
Enjoy Japanese Yakiniku with meat seasoned in our signature momi-tare marinade.
Our restaurant opened in Osaka's Ikuno ward in 1967. After a renovation in 2019, it reopened as Ajien, a place where you can enjoy yakiniku on your own terms.
We season our meat with momi-tare, a traditional marinade rubbed into the meat before grilling. You won't find a separate dipping sauce here; the flavor is already in the meat.
With counter seating and a grill for every guest, you can relax and enjoy your meal at your own pace.
Our momi-tare marinade follows a tradition passed down since before World War II. It seasons the meat before it hits the grill.
Settle into our pub-inspired space with freshly grilled meat and a cold beer.
Choose your meal and buy a ticket at the machine near the entrance.
When your number is called, pick up your order at the counter.
Each seat has its own gas grill, so you can cook your meat just the way you like it.
